Improv Everywhere is amazing, I suggest checking out their channel. I’d love to be involved somehow.
Mark Crilley – at first I was skeptical at a middle-aged American man drawing manga, but he really knows what he’s doing.

I got the BCP today. I’m going to call the derm tomorrow and try to schedule my blood test so that I’ll hopefully be able to start Accutane a little sooner. I’ll still have two pregnancy tests to do – so pointless! My skin is still peely from the chemical peel last week; I hope that improves in the next week.
Oh jeez
Hmm well after ten hours of redness from the peel at the derm’s, my face is rather pale and the dermatitis has been smooth out in one fell swoop! It’s funny, cause my cheeks are, for the first time since I got Rosacea, their natural white color, but they’re the only area I didn’t treat today. o.o Lol I’m not complaining, it’s good to know that my skin can revert back to its natural color when it feels like it. xD
I’ve been watching old Cartoon Network stuff and came across the intro to one of my old favorite series, Mike, Lu, & Og. >.< And Sheep in the Big City, Johnny Bravo, Dexter’s Lab, Samurai Jack, etc etc. <3
I’ve also been listening a lot to Jesca Hoop. I love her style of music – jazz/blues/folk/pop.
‘Night!!
Very GAR, very GAR :D
Okay, just back from my derm. He said I could get Accutane (low-dose), but that it’d be a number of weeks before I can actually start using it. I have to start BCP soon, then from there it’s like a four week’s wait. In the meantime, he gave me a light chemical peel in the areas I didn’t have too much redness (mostly the forehead and chin) to help clear the skin. The top layer of skin is my dermatitis, so it’d actually be really good if that peeled off like it’s supposed to over the next few days.
I’ll try to get the lowest Accutane dosage I can get. He suggested 30mg 2-3x per week. I was thinking 10mg a day, but I guess his option would be pretty equivalent. I have many weeks to look for a dose I’m comfortable with, so no worries.
He gave me Prednisone 5mg to take for only three days to help with the redness and get rid of any lingering dermatitis. I do really well with topical cortisones, so hopefully only three days of Predisone will do some good.
He said that since I have at least a 4 week wait before Accutane, he’s going to test different acne treatments on my skin so that we’ll hopefully find something that clears me up a bit before Accutane. If we manage to find a good product, then I’ll probably be able to use it post-Accutane as a maintainance treatment. He said that since some of the products are strong, to only use it on a tiny spot on the side of my face and see if it irritates. Two of the products he gave me to try is a weak AHA pH balanced cleanser and some Ziana (a mild retinoid) samples. I’ll try these products in a little test area and see if anything works.
I’m not excited about the long wait for Accutane, but at least the ball’s rolling. I’m so excited! The derm (a funny Italian dude who calls himself “Dr. Jazz” because his last name is too hard to pronounce) said that he’s been prescribing Accutane since the 80’s and it’s never fail to work so far. It’s good to know that I’ll hopefully have good skin for the fall. I’ll be getting monthly blood tests to make sure I’m healthy and stuff, so he said I won’t have to worry about that.
I hope these next few weeks pass really really quickly. >.<
Edit: This girl is a makeup artist with AMAZING hair and makeup. She reminds me of cotton candy. Her vids are really fun to watch if you’re interested in more extreme makeup.
YESSSSSSSSSS
Woot!!
The dermatologist said that he has a friend who specializes in low-dose Accutane. So – by this time next week, I should have it prescribed. ^^
I’ll have to wait a month and have two pregnancy tests done before I can actually start the drug, but I’m just so happy to finally have this as my line of treatment. The results from what I’ve seen are really amazing, and it can have a positive effect on my type of dermatitis, too. That month will probably be a painfully long wait, but that’s not much in the scheme of things.
This is the first thing to have really gone right. *dances*
tl;dr
Haven’t posted in a while. Short update.
Skin: I think the cream treated the seb derm. I’m twice as broken out as before, and I’ve gotten some painful cysts. I think this is good, since it heightens my chances of getting Accutane on Thursday.

My internet’s been out so I’m only online long enough to do school. I’ll comment on blogs and stuff when it’s better. ;_;
My mom scheduled for me and Michael to fly out July 5-15.
